Our primary focus is exposure and preparation. We want our students to have a real sense of what the engineering profession encompasses and to walk out of our program more than ready for what they will encounter in an undergraduate engineering curriculum. One way of doing that is to make sure that our students interact with engineers on a daily basis. This is easy, because their teachers are engineers. The result of this environment is that our students are very familiar with: challenging academics, open-ended problems, hands-on activities, technical writing, technical/public speaking, honest feedback, college-level content, industry-standard software and working as part of a team.

Engineering Academy is an elective class and does not replace any math or science class. It is meant to be taken in conjunction with your math and science classes to help you gain and understanding of how those concepts are applicable in the field of engineering. The Engineering Academy classes do count as a career tech credit.
