2020 Senior Projects
EA 4, Engineering Design and Entrepreneurship, is a culminating course designed to enhance students' project management skills. This is done through the integration of a long-term engineering project in which students work in teams to design, build and prototypes with real world applications. At the end of the course, students will present their product to their clients in addition to an "Engineering Expo Night".
The EA 4 class provides students the opportunity to work with real-world open-ended challenges proposed by their clients. They learn and apply the engineering design process by defining the requirements, the conceptualization, analysis and physical prototyping. Students buy and/or fabricate items to create their prototypes. Through this process they are able to see their designs, ideas and calculations come to life.
